Balance Atlanta Uses BrainCore Therapy to Combat a Myriad of Neurological Disorders

For the first-time ever, neurological based conditions including ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, overeating and insomnia can be helped and in some cases reversed without medication or invasive action with BrainCore Therapy, a process that works to train the brain and regulate the nervous system in a very holistic and effective way. Via a plethora of diverse training methods determined by the results of an initial EEG, the BrainCore technology enables instant neurofeedback and in turn, a patient becomes aware when his brain is producing the correct type of brainwaves needed to fulfill a specific function or task. The treatment provides immediate auditory, visual and sensory response for the patient as confirmation that the correct brainwaves are being utilized. When the brainwaves shift into an abnormal pattern, machinery will cease and the patient will have to refocus and use the appropriate waves to get the BrainCore to restart. It’s direct, easy to understand and even more importantly, patients have the swift ability to redirect their minds into a healthful rhythm instantaneously.

“To receive optimal results it is necessary to combine the two methods of treatment as traditional techniques focus on the spinal cord and nervous system while BrainCore Therapy hones in on the brain,” said Dr. Caroline von Fluegge of Balance Atlanta Family Chiropractic. “I am very excited to be one of the few chiropractors in the Atlanta area to add such a cutting-edge therapy to my practice as BrainCore Therapy enables me to give my patients a new lease on life.”

Typically patients need to undergo about 10-20 thirty minute sessions for optimal results. Among the many neurological ailments BrainCore Therapy combats include symptoms of ADD/ADHD, headaches and migraines, learning disorders, memory loss, overeating and binge eating, fibromyalgia, anxiety disorders, insomnia, age-related cognitive disorders, panic and anxiety disorders and post traumatic stress disorders. It’s permanent, painless and proving to be the method of choice among patients.

BrainCore Therapy was created by chiropractor Dr. Guy Annunziata. After his nephew was diagnosed with Autism, Dr. Annunziata was determined to find an alternative, non-invasive treatment so that he could lead a ‘normal’ life. “Neurofeedback has shown tremendous promise in helping children with Autism,” said Dr. Annunziata. “We have also seen great results in helping children with ADD/ADHD as drug treatments can be very unsuccessful.” After extensive research and practice sessions, he developed this everlasting approach to brain training and restoration of brainwaves. Research proves that using neurofeedback training, 80-percent of ADD/ADHD patients are able to make significant and enduring improvements.

Joy of Sharing Holiday Program in Atlanta

The Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services invites you to participate in the Joy of Sharing Program. We need donors to assist in meeting the Holiday wishes of the 1,000 children in foster care who have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. Wish lists for these children are filled through monetary donations, donated gifts or the combination of the two from companies, organizations and individuals.

When a child is matched with a donor, you will receive the child’s name, age and three items from his/her special “Wish List”. We request that all gifts be delivered from December 3rd-20th to our donation warehouse at 1218 Old Chattahoochee Ave. Additionally, monetary and gift card donations (Target, Old Navy, Blockbuster, Best Buy, etc) are needed to purchase gifts for children not matched and to meet their ongoing needs throughout the year.

There are Target coupons available, so people can be even more generous.

We need your assistance in making this a very special Holiday Season for the children. If you would like to sponsor a child where you will receive the child’s name, age and three items from their special “wish list” or need any further information, please do not hesitate to call Volunteer Resources Coordinator Delores S. Battle at 404-699-4387.

Donations and gifts are tax deductible.
