Moe’s Original Bar B Que Set to Offer Second Atlanta Location

In mid-August Moe’s Original Bar B Que will open a new location outside of the perimeter at 12020 Etris Rd Suite B-140 in the Sweet Apple Village shopping center in the heart of Roswell. Like the Midtown restaurant, Moe’s Original Bar B Que features award-winning pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken smoked over hardwood served with two unique sauces in addition to Catfish and a Shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich. Additionally, a daily rotation of traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts are prepared fresh from recipes passed down for generations. Large party takeout orders and full service catering with delivery for parties and special events are also available.

With square footage of 2,800 and a seating capacity of approximately 100, the new spot utilizes rustic looking woodwork with antique metal trims to provide a classic down home southern feel. Like most Moe’s Original Bar B Ques across the country, the Roswell eatery has an open kitchen feel, giving customers a full view of the Ole Hickory smoker and the food being prepared. The interior walls are covered with a mixture of music and sports complete with a ski lodge feel and Southern flare. A full size garage door opens up to a large patio area furnished with large picnic tables that are perfect for a great family dining experience or private party.

Recognized with many awards, Moe’s Original Bar B Que has been named one of the Top 10 Rib Joints in the U.S. by Relish and Top 10 BBQ Chains in America by USA Today and The Daily Meal. Owning several other locations in Northern Alabama, Chris Clowers and Mike Ellis have partnered on this venture with Roswell natives Kyle McCarter and Andrew Justin. Moe’s Original Bar B Que Expands to Decatur, Alabama

Decatur, Alabama, April 9, 2014 – Moe’s Original Bar B Que is proud to announce they will be opening a new Decatur location in early May at 202 East Moulton Street. Famous pit master Pauli “Choppy” Mitchell will serve-up the award-winning Alabama-style BBQ with all of the down home fixins in a family-friendly, yet fun atmosphere daily from 11am-10pm. The full premium bar will serve frozen concoctions including the famous Bushwacker and Moonshine Margarita, Southern-style cocktails, wine and plenty of craft beers on tap and will even stay open until midnight on Thursdays through Saturdays. Located in the Downtown Decatur Arts & Entertainment District next to the historic Princess Theatre, there will be occasional live music on the weekends that will range from Southern rock and blues with an emphasis on the Muscle Shoals and North Alabama music scene.

“Downtown Decatur is a natural fit for Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que and we are excited to be a part of the old town style with a fresh vibe,” said co-owner Mike Ellis. “The Arts & Entertainment district was attractive to us as well as the historic Princess Theatre, the Arts College, 3rd Friday and future projects planned for the area.”

The newly built, fast casual restaurant is 3,000 square feet and will seat approximately 100 people. The exposed spacious dining room has large windows and roll-up garage style doors that open to a 500 square feet covered front patio with bar service overlooking 2nd Ave. Wanting the location designed with a rustic theme, reclaimed wood and large timbers were used throughout the restaurant and bar while historic bricks make up the back bar.

With two other successful locations in Huntsville at Jones Valley and Village of Providence, owners Mike Ellis and Chris Clowers knew Decatur was the next logical spot after hunting for the perfect space. Named one of the Top 10 Rib Joints and BBQ Chains in America, Moe’s Original Bar B Que has 29 other locations in AL, CO, FL, GA, ME, NC, OH and TN. Moe’s Original Bar B Que Expands Village of Providence Location in Huntsville, AL

Huntsville, AL, October 1, 2013 – Moe’s Original Bar B Que will unveil its new 1500 sq. foot addition at 445 Providence Main Street on Monday, Oct 7^th. As renovations are almost complete, the new accommodations will allow increased space for private parties and events while keeping the original restaurant open to the public. With garage-style glass door that open to the sidewalk, there will be live music regularly on most weekends either indoors or on the patio. Additionally, the new facility has a huge bar with five additional flat panel TVs for premium sports viewing and an area for dart boards and other games. A Grand Opening Party is scheduled for Saturday, Oct 12th featuring live music from Dirt Circus and Cousin Boogie along with food and drink specials all day.

“The Village of Providence is growing at such a fast pace that we wanted to keep up with demand,” said co-owner Chris Clowers. “Now with a total of 4500 square feet, we will be able to accommodate all of our customers needs.”
