There will also be seafood and vegetarian options as well as Southern style side dishes and desserts from recipes passed down for generations. Offering premium catering services and large takeout orders, the service-oriented staff is ready to accommodate any size group or party. The restaurant’s atmosphere keeps with the company’s brand of combining a relaxed feel with the comforts of Southern hospitality. Complete with an outdoor patio, the 140-seat casual restaurant is open daily. Moe’s Original Bar B Que Wins Best Restaurant at Bele Chere Festival in Asheville, NC

Moe’s Original Bar B Que was pleased to be recognized at Bele Chere as Best Overall Restaurant by taking home Taste of Asheville’s Taste Award. For the event, Moe’s Original Bar B Que served up a sampling of its “Southern Soul Food Revival” with sandwiches and platters of Pulled Pork, Ribs, Turkey and BBQ Tempeh as well as Southern sides that included Baked Beans, Marinated Slaw, Watermelon Salad, Chips, Cornbread and Banana Puddin’.­ At Bele Chere, Foodtopia at the Taste of Asheville in Pack Square featured local restaurants, showcasing a sampling of some of the best cuisine in Asheville.

 “We really enjoy participating in community events,” said co-owner Dave Rice. “To receive this award is an added bonus and such an honor.” 

Located in the Biltmore Village area, Moe’s Original Bar B Que serves up an award-winning, all things Southern, Alabama BBQ experience. In addition to a beautiful outdoor patio, there is a varied beer selection as well as four large flat-screen HDTVs for sports viewing and live entertainment on Sundays. Open for lunch and dinner on Monday – Saturday from 11am – 9pm and Sundays from 12pm – 4pm, the restaurant also offers large party takeout orders and full service catering.
