New Event Venue, The Space, Launched at The Wharf

Orange Beach Concierge  introduces The Space, the newest event venue on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Conveniently located inside of The Wharf, The Space is available to host private events including chef tastings, rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, family reunions, corporate events and more. The Space can be transformed for any type of event with a capacity for 60 seated or a 100 person reception. With two acclaimed chefs, experienced planners and years of experience, Orange Beach Concierge has the skills necessary to plan your perfectly executed event at The Space.

“The Space is an 1800 square foot open reception area that is a blank canvas for any private event. Our professional kitchen allows our seasoned chefs to exceed guests’ expectations by creating memorable cuisine for each event,” said Co-Owner Tillie Pan. “Additionally, we work with an in-house event coordinator, Maranda Godwin of Jubilee Events and Design, to provide a one stop shop for your event planning needs.”

Chef David Pan Wins Flavor Award

The winning dish: Boeuf Bourguignon

Chef David Pan earned the Flavor Award at the Wharf Uncorked Food & Wine Festival in Orange Beach. As this chef’s style is traditional French cooking for current times, his winning dish was a Boeuf Bourguignon with Roasted Garlic Pomme Purée. Held in mid-September, the three day event combines tastings of delicious food and tantalizing wines, live entertainment, a pinch of southern flare and a dash of Gulf Coast hospitality.

“As flavor is the most important part of cuisine, it is quite an honor to win this particular award,” said Chef David Pan of Orange Beach Concierge. “Additionally, as sponsors for the entire festival, it is exciting to know that over $15,000 was raised for Make a Wish Alabama.”

After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Mendota Heights, Chef Pan began his career at the 3 Diamond rated WA Frost in St. Paul under Chef Russell Kline. He expanded his culinary experience working with noted chefs at elite establishments that included the Minneapolis Club, James Beard winning Gustavus Inn, Fishers Orange Beach along with Brick and Spoon. Last year, he launched Orange Beach Concierge, one of the only private dining services in the area. While he is new to the coast, his culinary impact is already well known by his peers.
