Vail, Colorado, June 14, 2014 – Centralized in the heart of Tahoe City at 120 Grove Street, Moe’s Original Bar B Que will offer its first waterfront location in mid-June. With outdoor seating and lakefront views from every table, owners Eric Pilcher, Josh Wallick and Luke Dannals will be providing the finest in Alabama-style BBQ daily from 11am-10pm in a Southern beach bar atmosphere. From daily smoked meats and fresh seafood to homemade sides and cold beers, Moe’s Original has something smokin’ for everyone! Moe’s Original Bar B Que features pork, chicken, turkey, wings, ribs, tofu, seafood, fresh house-made sides and 12 cold draft beers. Additionally, there will be boat coolers, catering for any size party or special occasion as well as a private event space upstairs.
“The former Lakehouse Pizza spot was legendary before it burned and we knew it would be the perfect place in a town with the exact vibe that we were wanted for our restaurant,” said co-owner Eric Pilcher. “Being a laid-back ski town in the winter and a fast paced, beachy mountain town in the summer, it offers the best of both worlds to us.”

Years after learning to fire roast meats in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilbert and Jeff Kennedy founded Moe’s Original Bar B Que in Vail, Colorado in 2001.
