Red Phone Booth, the award-winning speakeasy concept, inked a deal to open on December 5th, Repeal Day, in the Grotto, an entertainment & dining hub, at Grandscape. The 4700 square foot location is at the bottom of the stairs on the right, directly across from Quartino, an Italian restaurant and wine bar. With Cigars International retail store also on the property, the new lounge will give cigar enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of blends in an exclusive atmosphere.
Extensive time, money and effort will also be placed to combat the smoke including a fresh Air Makeup system. The venue will have a 100% fresh outdoor air system accompanied by seven 2,500 cfm air purifiers to replace and scrub the air in the venue approximately every three minutes. Additionally, Red Phone Booth also will utilize Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization, the most robust and cutting edge air purification available that breaks down and render viruses inactive. This top of the line technology is also used at the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins.
“The passion and enthusiasm that the Grandscape team has for curating an unrivaled destination, with the best boutiques, shops, dining and entertainment, compelled us to bring the Red Phone Booth to The Colony, TX,” said Red Phone Booth Founder Stephen de Haan. “We are extremely excited for guests to turn back time 100 years to the roaring 20s and enjoy our award winning prohibition experience.”
Red Phone Booth is an unparalleled 1920s speakeasy experience with unforgettable service, a distinctive atmosphere, and extremely rare spirits. First launched in downtown Atlanta in 2016, the flagship Red Phone Booth location quickly became a fan favorite for patrons looking for a sophisticated lounge with exceptional craft cocktails, delicious food and award winning cigars. Guests gain entry by dialing a secret phone number on a rotary phone in an antique London red phone booth. From the fresh-squeezed juice in the craft cocktails to the walk-in humidor, every detail has been strategically designed to exceed guest expectations. In addition to the Dallas area location, Red Phone Booth is also in Nashville, scheduled to open in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood in early Summer along with two additional franchise locations in Florida planned for later this year.
