The Sundogs’ Tom Petty Show in Atlanta
A Rat Pack New Years Eve Celebration in Atlanta
The Sundogs Celebrate the Life & Music of Tom Petty
On Friday, December 8th at Smith’s Olde Bar, The Sundogs will present THE TOM PETTY SHOW, for the 8th consecutive year and certainly most emotional and important. Tom’s shocking passing in October has left an unmistakable void in the world, but thankfully his songs are eternal. On this evening, The Sundogs will look to channel all of those emotions into an incredible rock ‘n roll show filled with his hits, rarities and b-sides with a full house singing along to every damned word.
Keeping it in the family this year, The Haraway Brothers will open the show at 9 PM with a set from their
latest release “The Haraway Brothers Wish You Love & Luck in the World.”
This is a special show, so we urge you to buy TICKETS in advance. VIP tables are also available for groups.
Tom never quit, never rested on his laurels and never stopped trying to top himself. THAT’s the spirit The Sundogs will bring to this show.

Southern Rock Spectacular in Atlanta
Craft Cocktails and Bites for Yachty Rock Thursday
The Sundogs’ Halloween Spectacular
On Friday, October 30th, The Sundogs will host a Halloween rock and roll spectacular at the venerable live music landmark Smith’s Olde Bar. It’s Atlanta, so sure, there’s a lot going on, but we’re the only entertainment option with fist-pumping rock tunes on the docket. We’ll start Halloween off right, bringing you the big fun well before (and after) the witching hour of the 31st.
Clever costumes, Halloween covers and all of our best rock songs played with a frenzied amount of demonically fun Halloween spirit. Opening the show will be Oliver’s Antics, followed by our new friends from the Len Pridgen Band, all celebrating the black magic. So come in costume!
The Sundogs released their 3rd recording, “Cut & Run” this summer, which you can stream for free on their website, www.sundogs.net.
From Chris Martin, Atlanta Examiner:
“Part of what makes the Sundogs’ music so enjoyable is how they work as one. By sharing time on lead, embracing backing vocals and switching instruments the band creates a cohesive sound that is built around jangly guitars and catchy melodies.”

Burn Social Club Set to Open in Buckhead
On July 15th, Andrews Entertainment District brings the fire to the ice by introducing Burn Social Club next to Czar Ice Bar, both located at 56 East Andrews Drive NW. Burn is a modern day supper club featuring light fares, flatbreads and signature dishes served Wednesday through Saturday for dinner from 7pm-11pm along with great boutique wines by the glass and craft beers. Led by master bartender Thomas McGuire, a world class craft cocktail program will showcase a flavored ice program including smoked ice featured in the Burn Old Fashioned as well as an extensive martini selection and over 50 rare bourbons, whiskies and scotches from around the world. Patrons will be entertained by live music & dancing beginning at 8pm until midnight and late night DJs from midnight to 2:30am. Wednesday is Latin Elegance Salsa night, Thursday features the sounds from the Atlanta Rat Pack night while Friday and Saturday has Burn’s own high energy house band Cinnamon Groove playing top 10 hits from the 80s until today. With no cover during dinner, Burn Social Club’s admission is $10 after 10pm. Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts and encouraged to wear jackets.
The 4000 square foot space can seat approximately 150 patrons throughout the venue with three levels of seating. Guests will enter through Czar Ice Bar where a discreetly marked door shows the Burn flaming martini icon. Once inside, there is a large stage with a centerpiece fireplace, and exposed brick walls, LED lighting and state of the art sound. While high top tables surround the dance floor, a large dramatic bar with a hand painted ceiling in oranges, reds and yellows further enhance the fire feeling of Burn. Across the room is a plush seating lounge with black leather sofas, sophisticated crystal chandeliers, fireplace, and library wall.
“Inspired by the supper clubs of the 30s and 40s, Burn is a true social club where guests gather to socially eat and drink, be entertained and enjoy the company of friends,” said Andrews Entertainment District President Steve de Haan. “Burn was created as a nightlife alternative. Atlanta doesn’t lack for places to take a date for dinner, but does not have many upscale venues to go to after dinner where the energy is high, yet is still intimate enough to carry on a conversation. A place to be entertained by true performers, and not just musicians, our goal is to marry the timeless sophistication of Prohibition with premier entertainment and dancing.”
