Steamhouse Lounge Announces 27th Annual Oysterfest

Atlanta, Georgia, January 15, 2010 – The Steamhouse Lounge is pleased to present the 27th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest 2010 on Saturday, February 20th from 11am-6pm and Sunday, February 21st from 12pm-5pm. The event will take place again in Midtown on 11th Street between West Peachtree and Peachtree Walk by the Steamhouse Lounge. In addition to a million hickory grilled Louisiana Pearl Reef oysters, over 100 gallons of the award-winning Steamhouse lobster bisque, there will be plenty of Budweiser and Goombay Smash. Both days will feature musical performances with Justin, Swami Gone Bananas, Unzipt, and The Sundogs on Saturday and Miss Kitty with Menage a Trois, Olde Dog and Gary Pfaff and the Heartwells on Sunday.

“Oysterfest is always a perfect kick off to the festival season,” said festival founder and Steamhouse Lounge managing partner Sam Weyman. “We have worked out the kinks at our new Midtown location and know it will continue to be a fabulous event.”

Tickets are available at Ticket Alternative for $20 on Saturday and $10 on Sunday. A portion of proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This is an all ages event. Musical performances are subject to change without notice.
