After 13 years in Buckhead, Andrews Entertainment District will be closing after its New Year’s Eve party. These venues include East Andrews, The Atlanta Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre, Stout Irish Sports Pub, Cellar 56, Czar Ice Bar, Stillhouse Craft Burgers & Moonshine, Burn Social Club, Prohibition, and Sal’s Pizzeria.

“We are grateful for the many years of patronage. Please come by in the days to come, and say goodbye to a Buckhead institution. The Atlanta Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre, has a stellar closing line up: Steve-O, Norm Macdonald, Bryan Callen, George Wallace, and T.J. Miller who will be performing our New Year’s Eve show. The rest of the venues will be having specials and tastings. Our future is bright, and we will have many new announcements in the coming weeks and months ahead,” said Andrews Entertainment District President Steve de Haan.

Tribble Reese Takes Over Burn Social Club to Redefine Atlanta Nightlife

Atlanta, GA, Sept. 3, 2015 – Burn Social Club is pleased to announce that celebrated personality Tribble Reese has come on board as managing partner. While Burn Social Club has been thriving since opening earlier this summer, Tribble saw the opportunity to take the venue a step further to revolutionize the Atlanta nightlife scene. Keeping with the fiery ambiance, Burn will continue to set the stage for live music and renowned DJs with the latest LED lighting and state of the art sound for crowds to dance the night away on the massive dance floor or relax in plush VIPS seating lounge. Burn will also continue to feature its light fare menu along with master bartender Thomas McGuire’s world class craft cocktail program. Targeting a younger, hipper vibe, Tribble will attract Buckhead’s hot, sexy and cool elite to Burn by featuring illustrious relaunch parties beginning Friday, Sept. 11th at 8pm and running every weekend in September.

“When I was approached about coming on board to Burn, I was very intrigued as I had a radical vision of how I could transform this concept into something Atlanta has never seen before,” said Burn managing partner Tribble Reese. “Burn has all of the appeal of the lights and music of a club but you don’t necessarily need to be VIP to experience the party we are going to throw.”

Tribble Reese is a well-rounded jack-of-all trades, up and comer in the entertainment industry. Making a name for himself on CMT’s Sweet Home Alabama and Bravo’s New Atlanta, Tribble Reese is a model, actor and born entertainer. An avid traveler and former football star, he has been named as Jezebel Magazine’s Most Beautiful and Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Most Eligible Bachelor as well as plenty of red carpet appearances and most recently seen in Bravo’s Clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live. Born in Atlanta, raised in Alabama, schooled in South Carolina, and now making a name for himself where it all began, Tribble Reese is thriving under the bright lights as he takes Atlanta and the world by storm.

A Nightlife, Dining and Hospitality Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, December 3^rd and Thursday, December 4^th from noon – 4pm inside Andrews Entertainment District at the Improv Comedy Club located at 56 East Andrews Drive NW in Buckhead. Positions available include Front of House (Host/Hostess, Fine Dining and Upscale Casual Servers/Cocktail Servers, country club or hotel experienced Banquet Event Captain, Busser/Server Assistant and Food Runners), Bar (Bartender, Bar Back, Cashiers & Security), Kitchen (Line Cooks, high volume Expo and dishwasher), Marketing (Street Team, Flyer and Poster Distribution), Entertainers (Dueling Piano, DJ and Top 40, Swing/Rat Pack or Salsa House Band), Facility Maintenance (Janitor/Custodian, Weekend Handyman and Facilities Engineer handling restaurant equipment maintenance, HVAC repair and maintenance according to the www.bluonenergy.com standards, plumbing and electrical) as well as interns (Marketing, Catering and Event Sales). Q100 to Host New Year’s Eve Celebration at the District

Q100 presents Buckhead’s Biggest New Year’s Eve Celebration at the District. Q100′s DJ Johnny O will host and broadcast live at Andrews Entertainment District on New Year’s Eve. It will feature Buckhead’s only Ball Drop with a light show and confetti cannons for the Countdown in the Courtyard as well as party favors for all guests, not to mention a chance to win an all-inclusive stay in Mexico. There will also be 2 DJs with DJ Huda Hudia as well as live entertainment with KBM/Kontraband Muzik at Andrews Upstairs and DJ Tommy Who in the East Andrews courtyard. Inaugural Andrews Moonshine Festival Set in Buckhead

Andrews Entertainment District will host the first MS Wayne Andrews Moonshine Festival on Saturday, October 18^th. Buckhead’s first moonshine festival will feature a diverse selection of over 60 local and national moonshine varieties from apple pie to prohibition tea flavors as well as enlightening seminars, live music from the Gary Ray Trio and special guest appearances. VIP tickets are $60 and include early entry at 1pm while general admission is $30 with doors opening at 2pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Shepherd Center, a private, not-for-profit hospital devoted to the medical care and rehabilitation of people with spinal cord injury and disease, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular problems.

“Providing guests with a true moonshine experience, we are thrilled not only to feature over 60 varieties and flavors of moonshine but also to host experts providing four informative and interactive seminars at one event,” said Andrews Entertainment District President Stephen de Haan. “The Andrews Moonshine Festival will feature everything there is to know about moonshine and so much more.”

NASCAR Champion and Hall of Fame member Bill Elliott will make a special appearance showcasing his newly released White Lightening from his Dawsonville Moonshine Distillery. Additionally, the Dawsonville Moonshine Stock Car will be on display at the event. Wayne “Hill Billy” Nix from the Discovery’s hit show Moonshiners will be available for pictures. Four informative seminars with tastes and interaction with guests will be held throughout the day including The Moonshiner’s Journey – from Immigrant to Legitimate, Taste Craft American Whisky Like a Pro, Moonshine 101 History & Tales of a Moonshiner, and a Startup Whisky Distillery for the Entrepreneur. The seminars will be held by Billy Kaufman & Ricky Estes, founders of Short Mountain Distillery, Charlie Ball of Troy & Sons Distillery, Mark Allen owner/distiller of Lazy Guy Distillery, Eddie Varsalona of Blue Ridge Spirits and Randall Roberts, Georgia Ambassador of Piedmont Distillers. VIP ticket holders will also get to experience local craft beer from Monday Night Brewing and a Four Roses Bourbon tasting in Prohibition.
