Westone Anniversary Block Party Returns on July 26th

Liability Brewing and Moe’s Original BBQ are thrilled to announce the Westone 7 Year Anniversary Block Party, taking place on Saturday, July 26th from 11 AM to 10 PM. The entire Westone family of businesses—including Canvas Coffee + Art House, Community Canteen, Rudy’s House of Spirits, and V’s Barbershop—are joining in the festivities. The full-day event will be a celebration featuring live music, family-friendly activities, food, drinks, and community connection.

Guests can enjoy live music from Second Hand News, Swamp Rabbit Bluegrass, and Atlanta’s Stranger Company, with a curated playlist between sets. Free family activities include face painting, caricatures, and a kids’ station with games and sidewalk chalk. Yard games like cornhole and Giant Jenga will be set up on the patio, and local nonprofits such as Palmetto for Good and the Greenville Griffins Rugby Club will be on hand to connect with the community. Ample parking is available nearby for easy access.

Moe’s Original Bar B Que Set to Open in Greenville, SC

Moe’s Original Bar B Que, winners of the People’s Choice Award at the Taste of the Upstate, will open its southern soul food revival in Greenville in late June at 109 West Stone Avenue in the Westone Development. Serving lunch and dinner daily, the 2,500-square-foot, fast casual establishment will offer Alabama-style BBQ, traditional southern sides and desserts prepared fresh daily. With the ability to seat 94 total at booths, tables, and high tops including 36 on the patio, the BBQ joint will have flat screen televisions hanging on the walls, a full bar with rotating taps and frozen bushwackers, and garage doors open to a patio complete with outdoor fire pit. The neighborhood restaurant will also provide full service catering for celebrations and corporate events as well as large party takeout orders.

“Situated in the North Main community, the location was originally home to Star Cleaners in the 1920s,” said co-owner Sam Ragland. “Once we toured the spot and saw the character of the historic building, we knew this was a perfect place to re-purpose into a Moe’s Original Bar B Que.”
