Atlanta, Georgia, January 13, 2010 – Moe’s Original Bar B Que is proud to announce the opening on Friday of its 11th location at 181 N. College Avenue in the heart Fort Collins, CO. Featuring award-winning Bama-style BBQ smoked over hard wood served with two unique sauces, the restaurant also prepares eight to ten down home sides and tasty desserts. Whether guests are looking for a convenient spot for a quick lunch, casual dinner with the kids or special event location, Moe’s has customers covered in this eclectic, yet historic Old Town location.

“Being long time friends with the Moe’s guys, I knew the strong quality of their food and watched their stores grow over the years,” said Moe’s Fort Collins Owner/Chef Ted Schneider. “After 15 years of working as a chef for others (most recently as Executive Chef at Grouse Mountain Grill and the restaurants at Vail Plaza Hotel & Club), I wanted to open my own establishment and Moe’s was a perfect fit.”

Moe’s Original Bar B Que was founded in 2001 in Vail, Colorado by Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilbert, and Jeff Kennedy. Moe’s Original BBQ smokes all meat fresh daily as taught by Tuscaloosa, AL legend Moses Day. Moe’s has ten other locations that include Denver, Eagle and Vail, Colorado, Daphne, Fairhope, Orange Beach, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Lakeview, and Birmingham, Alabama. All Moe’s start serving at 11am and accommodate large party takeout orders, full service catering and delivery.

Moe’s Original Bar B Que Opens 7th Location in Alabama

Moe’s Original Bar B Que is proud to announce its grand opening at 6423 Bayfront Park Drive in Daphne, Alabama. Moe’s Original Bar B Que features award-winning Bama-style pulled pork, racks of ribs, and chicken smoked over hard wood served with two unique sauces plus eight to ten traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts. Open daily for lunch and dinner from from 11am-9pm, the restaurant also offers large party takeout orders and full service catering.

“In keeping with the charm of the area, we transformed an old historic home with wood floors, big oaks and Spanish moss into a fun and casual neighborhood eatery full of Southern hospitality,” said Moe’s Daphne co-owner Brent Boyd. “As we add live music in the future, we plan for Moe’s Daphne to be the best BBQ and blues joint on the Eastern shore.”
