Atlanta, GA- September 12, 2011 – Moe’s Original Bar B Que will open its doors on Thursday at 1826 Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. As the company’s rapid expansion continues, local owner John Gregg brings the traditional Southern comfort food of the award-winning barbecue joint to the community. Moe’s Original Bar B Que will be open daily at 11am with the full premium bar staying open late with sports on the HDTVs and live music starting soon.
The restaurant’s atmosphere keeps with Moe’s brand of combining a relaxed feel with the comforts of Southern hospitality. There’s stained barnwood paneling with stone accents throughout the establishment and large windows that cast just the right amount of light on the vintage photos, guitars and classic rock albums that hang on the walls. With seating for 75 inside, locals, families, business diners and travelers alike can belly up to the tin roof bar, get cozy in a booth or sit comfortably at a table.
“As we continue to listen to our customers’ requests for additional locations, we knew this thoroughfare that connects the resort towns with the Western Slopes has lots of traffic and is a perfect spot for our fast casual eatery,” says Moe’s Founding Partner Jeff Kennedy. “Now residents in Glenwood Springs don’t have to travel to Eagle or Vail to get their Moe’s BBQ fix.”
Bringing Alabama-style BBQ to Colorado, Moe’s Original Bar B Que started in Vail in 2001 and now has 19 locations in four states. An additional Colorado location will open in Boulder later this fall. Known for preparing all food fresh daily, Moe’s Original Bar B Que smokes meats to perfection and creates delicious down-home sides and desserts. Haul it Home Packs and custom catering for special events and parties are also available.
