Moe’s Original Bar B Que Opens Next Week in Downtown Huntsville, Alabama

Moe’s Original Bar B Que is set to open on Wednesday at 127 Holmes Avenue NW in the heart of downtown Huntsville’s entertainment district at 127 Holmes, a mixed use real estate development. The fast casual BBQ joint will serve up its Southern Soul Food Revival. The two story location is new construction featuring custom woodwork throughout, two rooftop terraces with roll up doors and full premium bars. Patrons will also enjoy live music on the weekends as well as bingo and trivia during the week.

“We’ve always wanted to open a location downtown,” said Moe’s Original Bar B Que operating partner Chris Clowers. “With all of the rapid economic growth in the area, the demand for new restaurants is now here.”

Recognized with many awards, Moe’s Original Bar B Que has been named in the Top 10 BBQ Chains in America by USA Today and The Daily Meal, one of the fastest growing, emerging restaurant chains by Restaurant Business Magazine, and one of the Top 10 Rib Joints in the U.S. by Relish. Served with red BBQ and Alabama white sauces, the award-winning smoked menu features pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken as well as fried pickles, salads, nachos, stuffed potatoes, catfish and a shrimp sandwich. Moe’s Original Bar B Que Expands Village of Providence Location in Huntsville, AL

Huntsville, AL, October 1, 2013 – Moe’s Original Bar B Que will unveil its new 1500 sq. foot addition at 445 Providence Main Street on Monday, Oct 7^th. As renovations are almost complete, the new accommodations will allow increased space for private parties and events while keeping the original restaurant open to the public. With garage-style glass door that open to the sidewalk, there will be live music regularly on most weekends either indoors or on the patio. Additionally, the new facility has a huge bar with five additional flat panel TVs for premium sports viewing and an area for dart boards and other games. A Grand Opening Party is scheduled for Saturday, Oct 12th featuring live music from Dirt Circus and Cousin Boogie along with food and drink specials all day.

“The Village of Providence is growing at such a fast pace that we wanted to keep up with demand,” said co-owner Chris Clowers. “Now with a total of 4500 square feet, we will be able to accommodate all of our customers needs.”

Moe’s Original Bar B Que serves up an award-winning, all things Southern, BBQ experience with two Huntsville locations and a third coming in Decatur in the spring. The fast casual eatery and catering company offers Alabama-style BBQ offerings including Pulled Pork, Ribs, Wings, Chicken and Turkey in addition to Catfish and a Shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich, not to mention an array of Southern Sides prepared fresh daily. Large party takeout orders and full service catering with delivery are also available. Huntsville, AL March 29, 2010 – Moe’s Original Bar B Que is proud to announce its 13th location opening on Monday, April 5th at 2030 Cecil Ashburn Drive Suite 109 in Jones Valley Station. Featuring award-winning Bama-style BBQ smoked over white oak and served with two unique sauces, the restaurant also prepares eight to ten Southern sides and tasty desserts. Moe’s location in Huntsville will have four flat screen TVs for sports viewing, a patio with picnic tables, views of the mountains and Jones Valley, not to mention acoustic music on some weekends.

“As Huntsville is a young, energetic scene, we wanted to bring this smokin’ BBQ joint for customers to enjoy with friends, family and a cold beer,” said Moe’s Huntsville co-owner Mike Ellis. “Additionally, we will be offering special event catering and large party take out orders with delivery.”

Moe’s Original Bar B Que was founded in 2001 in Vail, Colorado by Bama boys Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilbert, and Jeff Kennedy. Moe’s Original BBQ smokes all meat fresh daily as taught by Tuscaloosa, AL legend Moses Day in twelve other locations that include Denver, Eagle, Ft. Collins and Vail, Colorado, Daphne, Fairhope, Orange Beach, Tuscaloosa, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Lakeview, and Birmingham, Alabama. Additional locations to open this year include Asheville, NC, Atlanta, GA and two additional Denver, CO restaurants. All Moe’s start serving at 11am until it’s gone.
